Show Notes
Who are the women in your neighborhood? In your neighborhood…in your neighborhood…
Whether you have grown up living in Fort Collins, have lived here for 10 years, or have just moved to town, have you ever wondered just WHO had a part in changing the landscape for the future? Who are the prominent and courageous female trailblazers who leave behind a LEGACY in our community?
In this episode, we meet retired nurse and entrepreneur, Patti Smith. We spend time learning about the journey of her idea into a now 4-year project coming into fruition as an art exhibit in the community as well as curriculum from elementary to college level courses to deepen students’ understanding of the women who have made a difference in our community.
