Hey girl! Welcome to episode number 59, Embracing Sadness and Finding Happiness!

In this episode I get to chat with Ady Barney. Ady was born and raised in France. At 17 she moved to Colorado as an exchange student and made it her permanent home. She has a 16 year old amazing daughter, a beautiful and supportive fiancée, and two big dogs.

She was raised by a very mentally ill mother, which she is
now finding out, defined a lot of who she is and how she has chosen her path in
life. She is grateful for the incredible tribe of brave women in her life and
for this opportunity to share her story.

In this interview we dive into Ady’s story of losing her mom to suicide, and early childhood wounds that shaped the way she saw herself and the world. As an adult she is now leaning in and doing the hard work to heal and move forward. She’s learned that we have to embrace the sadness and uncomfortable feelings to pave the way to finding true happiness.

This such a beautiful and powerful interview and I can’t wait for you to hear it! Thank you Ady for sharing you heart and helping us grow through your bravery and willingness to be vulnerable!
