In this this episode I get to talk with Angela Bucher. Angela lives in the Pacific Northwest and is a wife and mom of three wild and beautiful girls. She has only just discovered her love for writing in the last two years. She just released her first book called Redeeming Destiny: Dancing into unexpected truth. Destiny was her stage name and it is a memoir about her previous life that was layered with drug addiction and really broken choices.
She was 27 years old by the time she finally made her way out of that lifestyle. Since then she has been on a journey of discovery about herself, life, and the Creator of all things good. Her mission in life is to raise her girls as strong, independent, non-conforming women who chase after dreams and believe in themselves and the goodness of God towards them.
She also wants to release others from the shame that so often clouds our perception of who we are. She believes our biggest weaknesses are really our greatest strengths and that there is nothing, not one thing we can do to separate us from Love, her favorite word for Jesus. Faith is not about following all the rules. It’s about following the desires of your heart, your dreams, and the quiet little whisper from within.
